We are Alyson and Grant James and we have lived on our lifestyle block with our Three daughters for 10 years in the sunny Upper Moutere area of Tasman.

We both grew up in family owned Garden Centres and plant nurseries in Renwick and Hawera respectively. So horticulture in general is all we know.

Grant had a plant nursery back in the late 1970s through to late 1980s and we together have had a plant nursery for 20 odd years now.

We have a wholesale propagation nursery that mainly supplies wholesale nurseries around New Zealand called Kōtare Liners and have just set up a seperate side to our business called 'Dinkie Plants' that sells the same smaller grade shrubs and perennials direct to the public so everyone can take advantage of our great value garden plants.

Our propagation staff are experts, renowned for propagating even the trickiest plants, which mean we can offer you low cost tubestock plants that elsewhere you'd pay large amounts for.

All our plants we propagate ourselves and are sprayed with Vaporgard to give them a protective jacket in case of any delays in the shipping time.

Tube stock are fantastic value plants, low cost to buy and fast growing - so they catch up quickly to more expensive potted plants can do.

They are so much lighter than larger pot sizes, which means you'r not paying extra postage to ship soil.
